Adaptation and contribution towards a net zero economy

    • Do you operate or are you interesting in starting a business that could help your community?
    • Are you a community group or organisation wanting to be more economically and environmentally sustainable?
    • Do you want to know more about social and sustainable businesses?
    • Would you like to know more about decarbonization and net zero?

    This workshop will be useful for community-based businesses, Indigenous businesses, community organisations and neighbourhood centres that are trying to incorporate initiatives towards net zero.

    It will involve strengths-based participatory approaches to explore the needs and opportunities for social enterprises and community-based businesses. Community owned enterprises, regional and sustainable employment generation as well as culturally appropriate approaches will be among the discussion areas.
